Xtreme Green Products Signs Midwest Public Safety Distributor and Receives Initial Purchase Order for Sentinel Police Mobility Vehicles

June 17, 2009

Lund Industries, a distributor of police and emergency vehicles and accessories has signed a distribution and purchase order agreement with Xtreme Green Products for Sentinel Police Mobility Vehicles.

Xtreme Green Products, Inc. (XGP), an eco-vehicle company specializing in the development of electric land vehicles and personal watercraft, has announced today that it has received a distribution and purchase order agreement from Lund Industries for Sentinel police mobility vehicles (PMV).

“Lund Industries is an established leader in the sales and distribution of security vehicles and accessories,” explained Neil Roth, President and Chief Operating Officer of Xtreme Green Products. “We look forward to working closely with the Company to begin introducing the Sentinel to police departments, security firms and universities throughout the Midwest,” he added.

The Sentinel is an electric PMV designed to replace the bicycle and foot patrol with a reliable, state-of-the-art, and efficient urban neighborhood, university campus and downtown patrol. The Sentinel can travel at speeds up to 29 miles per hour and offers a range of 80 miles per charge.

The agreement provides for the marketing and distribution of XGP’s Sentinel PMV. The Sentinel will be marketed and sold by Lund Industries to Public Safety users throughout Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Wisconsin.

“Xtreme Green Products has developed an innovative and cost-effective solution for improving police and security patrol in areas where traditional police vehicles are less effective,” commented Paul Lundberg, Chief Executive Officer of Lund Industries. “Given the initial popularity of the Sentinel, we believe that it will quickly become the standard electric patrol vehicle used by police departments and university campuses across the Country,” he added.

In addition to launching the Sentinel PMV, XGP recently announced that it has begun accepting orders for its X Rider electric motorcycle. The first 25 motorcycles, which can travel up to 65 miles per hour and over 100 miles per charge, are being sold exclusively online at http://www.XGPshop.com.

All Xtreme Green Products vehicles are designed with proprietary energy management systems and electric propulsion systems, providing each vehicle with the power and ability of gas powered engines, but without the particulate pollution or noise pollution.
