Just a couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure of attending the Government Fleet Expo in Denver, Colorado. During the conference, we meet some great people and had a fun time demoing our electric vehicles. Since then, we have made our way across the country to the east coast, stopping along the way in several different cities to meet with customers.

This week, we will be exhibiting our X Rider electric motorcycles and Sentinel police mobility vehicles at the Police Security Expo in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This conference is one of the premier shows in the country and is now celebrating its 23rd year.

If you are planning to attend at the expo, look for us at the Lund Industries booth #529. For those that are in the area and have an interest in meeting, but not planning to attend the expo, feel free to contact us.

We will be showcasing our X Rider electric motorcycles and our Sentinel police mobility vehicles at the Government Fleet Expo next week (June 9th and 10th) in Denver, Colorado. Just look for us at the “Burt Automotive Network” booth. For those that missed our announcement from June 4th, Burt Automotive is our authorized dealer in the Denver area. They will begin carrying the full lineup of Xtreme Green Products this summer, including the X Rider, Sentinel and Xtreme Green motor scooter.

Great news for X Rider fans.

As of today, we are officially integrating a new proprietary propulsion system into the X Rider, which will transition the 40AH/4KW brushless hub motor to a 60AH/4.5KW brushless hub motor. This upgrade will now push the X Rider to over 6KWH [60AH x 4.25 volts x 24 batteries], making it what we believe to be the most powerful electric propulsion system for a motorcycle commercially available.

The news gets even better. Because of the higher wattage, the X Rider now qualifies under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 for a $3,334 plug-in electric vehicle tax credit.

Because we are maintaining the cost of the X Rider at $7999, this upgrade would bring the net cost of the X Rider (after federal tax credits) down to $4,665 and could be even less depending on the owner’s state of residence.
